Kristyn Sometimes What I like about Alex's covers is the way he takes all these songs that a lot of people know well and probably love, makes them completely different, and somehow instead of being like "WTF?" it's like "I never knew I needed an acoustic guitar cover of VNV, but here we are." Favorite track: Legion.

For World Goth Day 2023, a little diary of songs that mapped out my formative years, hence: Born in Black

Bauhaus, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Depeche Mode, Sisters of Mercy, Rasputina, Sarah McLachlan, Seabound, VNV Nation, Kristin Hersh...

These tracks were chosen by my supporters at Patreon, but in each case, they coincide with my own musical education.
