Well I live with elves and reindeer
And Mrs. Claus way up north at the pole
Cuz to me every day is Christmas day
I've given up hiding my "ho ho ho"
Well any time any place anywhere that I go
All the people seem to stop and stare
They say, "Why are you dressed like Santa Claus?"
As if they had no idea who I was
Oh, why can't I live a life of glee
With toys for all of the boys and girls?
Why can't they let Rudolph and me
Fly a sleigh, fly a sleigh 'round the whole wide world?
Well I let them go and believe
I'm a myth till it's right about Christmas eve
And I dress this way so I can say hey
Man red and white are never passé
Why can't I live a life of glee
Beneath the trees and the mistletoe?
With ease I'd slide down your chimney
You'd best be nice or you're getting coal
Why doubt me? Without me
December's nothing but blizzards hurled
My business is Christmas
Fly a sleigh, fly a sleigh 'round the whole wide world

I am a queer goth who works in climate. thanks for giving my soul an outlet for all this despair. I too dream of gutting billionaires... and would gladly drown when the flood comes for them. thanks for helping me keep the abyss at bay and stay in the fight. can't thank you enough for this album. alder-knight

On both Avalanche and the Whirlwind Remix particularly, Seeming manages the seemingly impossible feat of making it sound like there's 2 or 3 different songs going on simultaneously, in the best possible way. Such a huge spacious sound, and immaculate production and songwriting.
Also, I'm pretty sure Leonard Cohen would have heartily approved of this version of "Avalanche". <3 Conor Connolly
